Dorothy May "Dodie" Daff, 91 YOUNGSTOWN  Dorothy May "Dodie" Daff, 91, of Dogwood Drive, formerly of Struthers, died Friday morning with her family by her side. Mrs. Daff was born Oct. 1, 1916 in Montreal, Canada, a daughter of James and Dorothy May Richards Arnold. She was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1934 graduate of Struthers High School and worked for McKelvey Department store for over 40 years as a bridal consultant and as a buyer of cosmetics, retiring in 1979. Mrs. Daff was a member of the Christ¹s Church in Boardman. She also enjoyed working for the Mahoning County Board of Elections as a poll worker. Her husband, Russell P. Daff, whom she married Sept. 23,1938, died March 17, 1987. She leaves two sisters, Gladys "Becky" Williams of Youngstown and Maxine Kidd of Seminole, Fla.; one nephew, James (Mona Rae) Kidd Sr. of Seminole; one niece, Terry Ellen (James) McDowell of Seminole; one great-nephew, James (Debbie) Kidd Jr. of Largo, Fla.; one great-great-niece, Jessica Kidd of Largo; dear friends, Suzanne Barbati and her husband, William Florig and Kate and Anthony Florig; and many other dear friends. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service Sunday, Oct. 5, at noon at the Christ's Church, 7155 Glenwood Ave. in Boardman.
