Donna Joyce Harris

Poland - Donna Joyce Harris, 78, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  

Donna was born September 1, 1945 in Sharon, PA, a daughter of the late George and Agnes (Monaghan) Theil.

She graduated from Sharon High School in 1963 and moved to Poland, OH in 1969.  

Donna was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her seven grandchildren.  She was an avid baseball fan of the New York Yankees and a football fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.  Donna was looking forward to and couldn't wait for Super Bowl LVIII to see her team play again.   

Donna is survived by two children, Pamela A. Svatosky of Poland, OH and Jeffrey A. (Angela) Mudrinich of Lowellville, OH; seven grandchildren, Samantha Mudrinich, Karli (Patrick) Schanz, Ryan Svatosky, Cory Svatosky, Jonathon Mudrinich, Chad Svatosky, and Delaney Svatosky.  

Besides her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother, George Theil, III.

Private graveside services were held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Morefield Cemetery in Hermitage, PA with Pastor James Berkebile officiating.   There were no calling hours.

The family would like to recognize and thank the nurses at the CHF clinic at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Boardman for the love, care, and support that they gave to Donna and her family during this time.  

Arrangements were being handled by Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main Street in  Poland.
