Struthers - Donna Antal, 71, of Struthers, died Wednesday evening at her residence after a 2 year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Donna was born February 26, 1938 in Youngstown, a daughter of Harry and Winifred Bohn Schilling and was a life-long resident of Struthers.
A 1956 graduate of Struthers High School, Donna was a homemaker. She had also worked at Montgomery Ward, Casey's Restaurant, and then in collections for Gold Cross Ambulance.
She was a member of St. Joseph the Provider Church in Campbell, the Altar and Rosary Society, Infant Jesus of Prague Guild, and the Renewal Committee.
Donna was also a member of the 1956 Class Reunion Committee.
Besides her husband Richard Antal, whom she married October 12, 1957; she leaves two daughters, Michelle (Larry) Wichert of Henderson, NV, Debbie Madorno of Poland: one son, Rick (Norma) Antal of Henderson, NV; one sister, Linda Deidrick of New Springfield: and four grandchildren, Deanna Madorno, Danielle Timkovich, Claudia and Jonathan Ramirez. Donna also leaves behind 5 sisterhood friends, Joann, Marie, Helen, Anne, and Marianne.
Donna was loved by many and was an inspiration because of her strong faith and will.
Funeral services will be held at Monday, 10:15 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home and 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Provider with Fr. Michael Swierz officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Lowellville.
Friends will be received Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Poland.
