Donald F. Rogers

Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Davis-Becker Funeral Home for Donald F. Rogers, 71. He passed away Friday morning at his home.
Mr. Rogers was born July 22, 1940 in Youngstown, a son of John G. and Martha Jane Lightbody Rogers. He was a 1959 graduate of South High School and attended Youngstown State University. He was employed by Wean United and R.L. Best as a machinist and was a member of Argus Lodge #545 F. & A.M.
A veteran of Vietnam War, Mr. Rogers had served with the US Army.
His wife, the former Judith A. Wolfe, whom he married April 27, 1963 died Nov. 11, 1991 and two sisters, Judy and Debbie Rogers.
Surviving him is a daughter and son in law, Melissa and Stephen Nagy of Ann Arbor, MI, three brothers, Jack Rogers of Youngstown, Richard Rogers , and Thomas Rogers both of Austintown. Two granddaughters, Lindsey and Abigail and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death besides his wife and parents is a son Donald F. Rogers, Jr. who died Nov. 4, 1999.
Friends may call Monday from 5-7:00pm and Tuesday from 10-10:45am both at the funeral home.
