Donald Kennedy

Canfield - Donald Kennedy, 75, of Canfield, died Saturday at Salem Community Hospital. Mr. Kennedy was born January 30, 1933 in Youngstown, a son of Clyde and Dora Stamm Kennedy. A graduate of Canfield High School, Mr. Kennedy was a self-taught software engineer and worked for IBM. Mr. Kennedy was a member of the Youngstown Gun Club, and a computer and model railroad enthusiast. His wife, the former Loretta Jean Herbert, whom he married June 28, 1952, died June 27, 2003. He leaves three daughters, Cathy L. Osborn of Lodi, Donna J. Walls of Atlanta, Ga., and Sandra A. Butt of Columbus, OH; one sister, Eleanor Boyle of Enon Valley, Pa; and nine grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife, Donald was preceded in death by a son, Donald L. Kennedy, Jr. There are no services or calling hours. Condolences may be sent at www.beckerobits.com .
