Donald Cameron Heitger, 47 Struthers- Donald Cameron Heitger, 47, of Struthers, died of complications due to diabetes Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mr. Heitger was born April 15, 1960, in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, a son of Robert and Darlene Cooper Plum. He was raised in Beaver County and lived in Texas for five years before coming to Struthers 17 years ago. In Texas, he was a roustabout for an oil rig and in this area, repaired motors for the former Viking Marine. Mr. Heitger was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and boating. Besides his mother, Darlene Daugherty of Petersburg, Ohio, he leaves his wife, the former Anna Louise Phillips, whom he married April 20, 1990; one daughter, Jennifer Heitger at home; one son, James Phillips also at home; three sisters, Dorothea Comley and Darlene Beatty both of Petersburg, Ohio, and Kathy Plum of Indiana; three brothers, Ronald Gordon, Jr., of Aransas Pass, Texas, Raymond Gordon of Petersburg, Ohio, and Ronald Gordon of Negley, Ohio; a grandmother, Geraldine Cooper of New Galilee, Pennsylvania; one aunt, Bonnie Daugherty of Petersburg, Ohio; Annaâa�a��s Uncle Buck and Aunt Sue Shipley of Struthers; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Friday, 2:00 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland, where friends may call Friday, from 12:45 PM until 1:45 PM to visit with the family.
