Donald R. Evans passed away early Thursday morning at Hospice House.
Mr. Evans was born June 18, 1943 in Youngstown, a son of David Archibald and Violet Harvey Evans. He attended YSU and had worked in retail management.
Surviving him is his wife the former Barbara Hessman whom he married Sept. 3, 1966, a son Michael (Marianne) Evans of Boardman and a daughter Kristie (Mike) Henneman of Columbus. His twin brother Ronald (Vikki Gmitra) of Austintown, and a sister, Marion Evans Crum of Austintown. Five grandchildren, Meganne, Morganne, and Mitchell Evans, and Connor and Callie Henneman.
Preceding him in death besides his parents is a brother David.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 4:00 pm- 6:00 p.m. at Davis-Becker Funeral Home. (Our new location is at 8536 Market St.)
As per Mr. Evans request, there will be no services.
The family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to the Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Rd., Poland, OH 44514.
