Donald E. Davis, Sr. âa�" 66 POLAND âa�" Donald E. Davis, 66, of Russell Ave., formerly of Washington D.C., died Friday, March 30 at the Cleveland Clinic. Mr. Davis was born March 9, 1941 in Youngstown, a son of Earl D. and Dorothy L. Denton Davis. He moved back to Poland in 2000. He attended Wilson High School, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He served on the U.S.S. John C. Calhoun and the U.S.S. Vandivier He was a Police Officer for the U.S. Capital Police, at the U.S. Senate offices and the U.S. Capital. He was a member of the Mt. Hermon Lodge # 179 F.& A.M., in Hyattsville, MD. He was 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and was a member of the Shrine in Washington DC. His hobbies included cooking, gardening, playing the guitar and auctioneering. He is survived by one daughter, Debra (William) Winn of LaMiranda CA., two sons, Donald E. Davis, Jr., of LaMiranda, CA., Sean Davis of Elyria, two sisters, Patricia (Walter) Kralj of New Middletown, Pamela (Ernie) Bosly of Youngstown, one brother Robert (Debbie) Bosly of Boardman, 11 grandchildren, two nephews, and one niece. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Michael E. Davis, and one brother Richard Bosly. Family and friends may call Friday, April 13, from 5-7 at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM.
