Dominic Partezana Jr., 88, formerly of Youngstown died Sunday afternoon at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Lisbon. He was born, October 23, 1915 in Blythedale, Pennsylvania, a son of Dominic Sr., and Clorinda Paglieri Partezana. Raised in Shadyside, Ohio, Dominic came to Youngstown in 1940. He was a welder for General Fire Proofing retiring in 1977 after 37 years. Dominic was a member of the Struthers Church of Christ where he served as elder. He also served on the board of directors for the North Eastern Ohio Christian Youth Camp. He was a veteran of the United States Army during WWII. His wife, the former Helen Wright, whom he married March 27, 1937, died June 23, 2000. He leaves two daughters, Karen (Herman) McHan of Lisbon and Virginia (William Christian) Lindelof of Pearland, Texas; one son, Richard (Paula) Partezana of Covington, IN; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife, Mr. Partezana was preceded in death by three sisters, Rita Jones, Nancy Packard, and Elizabeth Scarpine; and one brother, George Partezana. Funeral services will be Monday, 11:00 AM at the Struthers Church of Christ. Friends may call Sunday from 4-7 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and Monday from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at the Church.
