Struthers - Dolores E. Vestal, 67, died Thursday evening, August 15, 2013 at Caprice Health Center in North Lima.
Dolores was born August 9, 1946 in New Castle, PA, a daughter of Peter Jaskola and Evelyn (Swogger) Carroll.
She was a graduate of Mohawk High School. Mrs. Vestal previously worked as seamstress for Bobbie Brooks Clothes in Butler, PA, Welker's Greenhouse in New Castle, and most recently as a transportation driver for Dacas and Easter Seals.
Dolores had a love for animals, especially her cats, and adopted many strays over the years. She enjoyed collecting Native American pieces and loved horses, previously owning two. In her spare time, Dolores also liked to go to auctions, making crafts, traveling, reading, flowers, and sitting and relaxing on her front porch.
She is survived by her daughter; two brothers, Peter Jaskola of Wampum, PA and John Carroll of New Castle, PA; and sister, Judy Pander of TX.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no calling hours or services. Interment will be in the Savannah Cemetery in New Castle.
