Struthers - Dolores "Dolly" E. Stover, 74, died Tuesday morning, July 5, 2011, at Hospice House after a courageous, seven year battle with cancer.

Dolly was born October 29, 1936 in Knoxville, TN, a daughter of the late Rhea and Nellie Newton Palmer and was a long time area resident after returning from California in 1987.

A 1954 graduate of Struthers High School, Dolly was an Escrow Officer for numerous Escrow Companies. She was a member of Christ Community Church, Campbell. Dolly enjoyed traveling, shopping, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She thoroughly loved life.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, William Stover, whom she married May 26, 1962; two children, Traci Stover Camaret of Struthers and William (Christine) Stover of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, Briana and Alyssa; three sisters, Geraldine Hardin of Mims, FL, Nella (Bernie) Conway of Boardman, and Linda (John) Morell of Struthers; one brother-in-law, Richard Benedict of Struthers; nine nieces and three nephews; and numerous grand nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Dolly was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Joshua Lopez and her sister, Shirley Benedict.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers with Rev. William Rotar officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Boardman.

Family and friends will be received Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the funeral home.
