Youngstown - Dianne M. Longo, 84, passed away on December 28, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.

She was born February 5, 1940 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Szabo) Douglass. She graduated from Rayen High School. She was a devoted homemaker, mother , grandmother and great grandmother. She also worked in the retail and service fields, always bringing warmth and care to everything she did.

She was active in her church, Simon Road Church of God, singing in the choir when she could. She loved reading, puzzles, and crafting until her health made it difficult. She was a fantastic cook, and her meals were always a source of joy and comfort. Most of all, she loved her family and treasured the time spent with them. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Anthony (Kathy Syphers) Longo Jr. of Canton; her grandchildren, Christina ( Dan Smith ) Longo, Meggan Longo, and Anthony J. Longo, III; and great-grandchildren, Julia and Kyle.

A committal service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Green Haven Memorial Gardens. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony J. Longo; and brothers, John Douglass, Jr. and David Douglass.
