YOUNGSTOWN - Diane Elizabeth Sargent, 59, died Dec. 28, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Diane was born March 14, 1956, in Youngstown, a daughter of Donald and Donna Beil Vandenbord.
She attended Poland Schools and was a stay at home mother. She belonged to Legion Riders American Legion on Indianola Road in Youngstown, where she was a prior Chaplain from 2013 to 2014. She was also involved in a biker ministry, Sons of Light.
Diane enjoyed canoeing, motorcycle rides, and her dog Roscoe. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her fiancé, Michael Brozman of Youngstown; four daughters, Kelly Sargent of Minerva, Melissa (Rocco) Melia of Boardman, Tiffany Sargent of Poland, and Jenna Sargent of Boardman; one step-daughter, Lari (Christopher) Slater of Austintown; one sister, Dawn Marie Trickett of New Castle; seven grandchildren, Payton, Mason, Gracie, Nonni, Gavin, Carissa, and Savanna; two nieces, Jennifer and Rachelle; and two nephews, Jeffrey and Bobby.
Besides her parents, Diane was preceded in death by one sister, Dana Carroll; and one nephew, Michael Carroll.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St., Struthers, with Pastor Rusty Wills officiating.
Friends and family will be received Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Diane's favorite color was purple, the family requests those attending would where something purple in her honor.
