Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday at First Free Will Baptist Church in Austintown for Diane M.Saltsman, 66, of North Lima. She went on to be with her Lord early Tuesday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center-Boardman
Mrs. Saltsman was born September 5, 1947 in Salem, a daughter of Grant Hixon and June (Englar) Nesbitt . She was a homemaker and devoted wife who loved her dog, who she referred to as her little "Honey-Bunny".
Surviving her is her husband, William Saltsman, whom she married May 3, 1984, a step daughter Jamie Saltsman Honig, and step son Richard Saltsman both of Wichita, KS, three sisters Jacqueline Calvin of Salem, Carol Leone of Sebring, and Geraldine Myers of New Mexico . Three brothers in law Wayne (Reba) Saltsman of Struthers, Donald (Susan) Saltsman of Edmond, OK, and Michael (Colleen) Saltsman of Austintown and a sister in law, Helen (John) Hartman of North Jackson. Also, seven step grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
Preceding her in death besides her parents is a brother Marvin Hixon.
The family request material tributes take the form of contributions to the First Free Will Baptist Church, 5530 New Rd., Austintown, OH 44515, where she attended and was loved by her church family.
Friends may call Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church.
The interment will be held at Paradise Cemetery.
