Youngstown - Diana Marie Bunetta, 58, died Thursday, October 2, 2014 under hospice care at Omni Manor Health Care Center after a lengthy battle with bladder cancer.
Diana was born April 18, 1956 in Youngstown, a daughter of Steve Bunetta and Ruth (Komorosky) Biel.
She was a 1974 graduate of Ursuline High School and attended YSU. She enjoyed baking, selling brownies and pumpkin bread at local farmer's markets, going to the Jewish Community Center to swim and play Mahjong with friends, and gardening. Diana was a member of multiple gardening associations, including Jubilee, and a member of the Mahoning County Bee Association.
She is survived by her mother, Ruth Biel of Cleveland, TN; two sons, Steven Bunetta and Zachary Tucker of Youngstown; stepmother, Linda Bunetta of Youngstown; two sisters, Denise (Charles) Pregibon of Coitsville and Laura (Thomas) Best of Struthers; three brothers, Stephen of Cortland, NY, Michael and Jeffrey, both of Cleveland, TN.
Diana was preceded in death by her father.
A private service will be held for the family.
