Poland - Denise Grace Tyma, 56, of Poland, went home to be with her beloved Lord and Savior early Tuesday morning, May 15, 2012 at Allegheny Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Born in Salem, Ohio, Denise was the daughter of the late Robert and Lucille Sanders Winters.
Denise was a 1972 graduate of Wadsworth High School and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Early in her career she worked for IRA Thomas Associates as a manager and currently was a Mary Kay consultant.
She was a devoted Christian and a 21 year member of Victory Christian Center where she had served as a deacon. Denise used her many talents to do the makeup for her churches pageants.She was a person who loved life and enjoyed having her family and friends around her. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Denise leaves her beloved husband of 20 years, Michael, whom she married on June 29, 1991; daughter, Laura Makuley of Cleveland; stepchildren, Diana (Rodrigo) Hernandez and Marc Tyma, both of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Katelyn and Elena Hernandez and Raymond Lara; sister, Sheryl (Steve) Simplican of New Waterford; and a brother, Richard (Cindi) Winters of Akron.
Besides her parents, Denise was preceded in death by three sisters, Kathy Boyd, Grace Kay Weaver, and Crystal VanArsdell.
A Christian funeral service will be held Tuesday, 12:00 Noon at the Victory Christian Center with Pastors Joe Thomas and Dave Drespling officiating.
Friends will be received Monday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00-11:45 a.m. at the church.
