Struthers - Delores Christina Vlosich, 86, of Struthers, died Friday morning at Maplecrest Nursing Home after a long battle with alzhiemers.
Delores, affectionately known as Dee, was born in Youngstown, a daughter of Michael and Christina Mickler Varsa.
She was raised in Struthers and was a graduate of Struthers High School. Dee worked at Century Super Market, Sky High Drive-In, Rich Theater, and McCroy's 5 and 10, both downtown Struthers. She retired from the Struthers Isalys.
A member of Christ Our Savior Parish, Holy Trinity Church, it's Infant Jesus of Prague and Altar and Rosary. Dee was also a member of the Ladies Pennsylvania Lodge #180, Croatian Lodge #504, Croatian Lodge Cardinals and Senior Citizens Local 2162.
Her husband of 40 years, Joseph Vlosich Sr., died October 19, 1992. She leaves one son, Joseph (Bonnie) Vlosich of Poland; three grandchildren, Joseph (Christi) Vlosich, David (Stephanie) Vlosich, and Joshua Vlosich, all of Poland; five great-grandchildren, Kaylyn, Jake, Danny, David Jr., and Drake Vlosich.
Besides her parents and husband, Dee was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey S Vlosich.
There are no calling hours or funeral services. Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers..
