Della June Leaghty

Della June Leaghty, 78 Struthers- Della June Leaghty, 78, died early Saturday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mrs. Leaghty was born in Struthers June 18, 1925, a daughter of Dale and Jennie Myers Shaffer. She worked at Friedman Candy Store and was a homemaker. She belonged to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #7538. She is survived by two sisters, Jennie Gibboney of Edinburg, PA and Dorothy McLaughlin of Struthers; and her companion, Bill Patterson of Stuthers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Leaghty; three sisters, Edna Smith, Lucille Pomeroy, Doris M. Deiley; and two brothers, William Shaffer and twin Dale Shaffer. Funeral services will be Tuesday 3PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call one hour prior at the funeral home.
