David L. Sturgiss

David L. Sturgiss, 45 Poland- David L. Sturgiss, 45, of 3193 Chardonnay Lane, died of complications from a motorcycle accident when traveling to Sturgis, South Dakota. Mr. Sturgiss was born September 15, 1958 in Youngstown, a son of John Howard (deceased) and Charlotte Lavern Perkins Sturgiss. He was raised in Lowellville and moved to Poland 22 years ago. He graduated from Lowellville High School and Mahoning County Joint Vocational School in 1976 and was a laborer in productions for Mold-Tech in Youngstown. A member of HOG, Mr. Sturgiss, along with his wife, loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Besides his mother Charlotte of Lowellville, Mr. Sturgiss leaves his wife, the former Pamella Johnston whom he married February 24, 1979; two daughters, Carmel Danielle and Jenna Louise Sturgiss, both at home; one son, David John Sturgiss, also at home; two sisters, Linda Beight of Poland and Kelly Serenko of Canfield; and one brother, Tim Sturgiss of Lowellville. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
