Struthers - David Charles Sodeman, 54, of Struthers, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his home.
Dave was born April 21, 1959 in Youngstown, a son of Harold and Ruth Thompson Sodeman.
He was a 1977 graduate of Struthers High School. Mr. Sodeman worked for General Extrusions from 1979 until 2009.
An avid sports fan, he enjoyed cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers. Dave was also a huge fan of Ozzy Osbourne.
He is survived by his wife, the former Laura S. Nesbitt, whom he married January 8, 1984; three children, James (Tara) Sodeman of Struthers, Jessica Sodeman of Weatherford, OK, and David Woloschak of Phoenix, AZ; two grandsons, Jordan Woloschak and Colton Sodeman; two sisters, Barbara (Glen) Weeks of Phoenix, AZ and Ruth (Joe) Scodari of Philadelphia, PA; and brother, Paul Sodeman of Struthers.
In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold "Sonny" and James Sodeman.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
