David W. Rigelsky, 60, of Boardman, formerly of Struthers, died Friday morning September 1, 2017 at Park Center Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
David, known as “Dirt” was born February 24, 1957 in Youngstown, Ohio, as son of Michael and Jo-Ann Daugherty Rigelsky and had lived in the area most of his life. A 1975 graduate of Struthers High School, David previously worked as a machinist for Commercial Shearing and Boston Metals. He was a longtime member of Struthers Parkside Church, which was formerly the Struthers Presbyterian Church.
David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cheering for the Baltimore Orioles.
He leaves his three brothers, Michael (Dot) of Newton Falls, Philip of Youngstown, and Bruce of Struthers; a niece, Jessica Craik ; a nephew, Brandon Rigelsky; and a grand-niece, Evelyn Craik.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at noon at the Struthers Parkside Church, 110 Poland Ave., where family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
