David Joseph Palumbo, 64

Youngstown - David Joseph Palumbo, 64, of Youngstown, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

David was born June 27, 1954 in New Castle, PA, a son of William and Phyllis (Furillo) Palumbo. He graduated from Hubbard High School in 1972.

David worked for the Youngstown Vindicator, delivering newspapers for over 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, the former Carol A. McCormick; a daughter, Marie Ann Palumbo of Youngstown; a brother-in-law, Robert W. (Thelma) McCormick of Struthers; and a sister-in-law, Susan K. (Robert) Tobias of Houston, TX.

Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Marilyn K. Gilliland.

A memorial service celebrating David's life will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are being handled Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
