Colorado Springs- David W. Graham, age 54, formerly of Youngstown, passed away peacefully at the University of Colorado Springs Memorial, on Wednesday morning, October 12, 2016 following a one year battle with lung cancer. He was the son of Patricia Graham of Youngstown and, the late, Claude Graham, who passed away on March 13, 2016.
David was born in Youngstown on January 4, 1962 and was a 1979 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. He was a resident of Colorado Springs, CO. for the last three years, and prior to that, resided in Arlington, TX for 25 years.
David had a special wit that will be missed by everyone that knew him. He had so many longtime friendships that he cherished. He loved the beautiful scenic mountains in Colorado.
David leaves his mother Patricia; his sister, Shari (Jim) Owens of Canton, OH; his brother, Tom (Cheryl) Graham of Hurst, TX; his long time special friend Patrick Perry; aunts, Nancy McCurdy of Youngstown, Sandy (Jim) Saffell of Poland Twp., Betty DeMarco and Helen George both of Struthers as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
David’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to Janice McMillan for all of her help, love and care and to all of her family for their love and kindness.
There will be a private service held on October 18, 2016 in Colorado Springs, CO where David’s wishes will be honored. The Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers is handling local arrangements.
