Youngstown - David's life came to an unexpected end on Saturday, April 11, 2015. He had an ongoing disease of addiction that took him from us and this world way to soon.
He was born January 24, 1984 in Youngstown, a son of Robert Fox and Rebecca (Pasquale) Fox.
David attended Chaney High School and after earning his G.E.D., he enlisted in the United States Navy in 2004. A few short years after being honorably discharged, he returned to his hometown to be with his family.
David attended Youngstown State University and was enrolled in the S.T.E.M. Department. He also attended Eastern Gateway Community College and ITT. He may have not had the chance to complete school, however his need for knowledge was amazing. While attending school, David was also employed for his father's construction company, Fox Home Improvement.
One of David's passions was playing guitar, especially playing alongside his friend, Anthony Garcia. He also enjoyed reading and playing video games.
David will always be a loving father, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. His memory lives through the lives of all who knew him. He was an amazing man who's potential was cut short due to this epidemic that strengthens every day. His disease of addiction did not define who he was deep inside. David had a peace about him that most people would spend all their lives looking for. The world has lost a great man. He was a beautiful soul.
He is survived by his parents, Rebecca Fox of Youngstown and Robert (Linda) Fox of Austintown; his son, Dylan Fox, age 10; half brother, Aaron Fox of Jefferson; maternal grandmother, Betty Olson of Youngstown; maternal grandfather, Robert (Stephanie) Pasquale of Youngstown; paternal grandfather, Harry Fox of Austintown; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Craig Pasquale, who was more like a brother to him than a cousin.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Bernice Fox and maternal step-grandfather, George Olson.
Family and friends will be received Saturday from 2-3:45 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St., Struthers. A memorial service will follow visitation at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Any memorial tributes can take the form of contribution's in David's name to Becker Funeral Homes, 11 Spring St., Struthers, Ohio 44471.
