David Fink Sr., 66 Youngstown- David Fink Sr., 66, of Youngstown died Monday afternoon at the Veteran Medical Center in Cleveland after a brief battle with cancer. David was born January 1, 1941 in Boardman, a son of Roy and Mary Sykes Fink. He was a life-long area resident. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Germany during the Cuban Missile Crisis. David was a self-employed carpenter and landscaper and had owned and operated the former Boardman Landscaping. He also plowed the snow for the Boardman School District for over 30 years. David was an avid hunter, loved to garden, and in the last three years of his life was enjoying building his hunting lodge on the Ohio River. David is survived by two sons, David T. Fink Jr. and Tim Fink both of Boardman; one daughter, Martha (Richard) Kane of Youngstown; four brothers, Roy of Poland, Robert and Leonard both of Canfield, and Charles of Florida; two grandchildren, Amanda and Andria Elliott; his long-time companion Nancy; and his beloved dog George. Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by his sisters Janet Callahan and Nancy Fink. Funeral services will be Friday, 11:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland with Rev.
