DANNY R. KRAFT âa�" 55 YOUNGSTOWNâa�"Danny R. Kraft, 55 of 1653 Medford Ave., died Friday at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY while awaiting a heart transplant. Mr. Kraft was born in Philippi, West Virginia, on March 17, 1951 to Rose Lea Morris Kraft. After attending Wilson High School, he joined the United States Marine Corps. He served as a Corporal where he received the National Defense Service Medal, the Pistol Expert Badge, and the Rifle Marksman Badge. Mr. Kraft also obtained an Associates Degree from New Castle School of Trades in Automobile Mechanics. He retired in 2000 from Republic Engineered Steels, Inc., in Massillon OH, where he worked as a Crane Operator. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Kraft is survived by his mother, his wife, the former Cynthia Siman whom he married August 25, 1973, two daughters, Christine (Andrew) Neider of Struthers, Sherry L. Kraft at home, one son, Atty. Danny R. (Nicole) Kraft of New York City, and two grandsons, Andrew Neider and Joseph Neider. He was preceded in death by his father Fred Kraft. Family and friends will be received Saturday, March 17th at 11:30 AM at the Oak View Catering 1300 Overlook Ave. A memorial prayer service will begin promptly at Noon with a luncheon following.
