Daniel âa�A"Danâa�A� E. Crissman, 34 Poland- Daniel E. Crissman, 34, of Edgewater Drive, died Sunday at his residence. Mr. Crissman also known as Dan was born May 25, 1970 in Youngstown, a son of Eugene U. and Patricia A. Stein Crissman. He lived in the area all of his life. A 1988 graduate of Poland Seminary High School, Dan went on to serve in the 10th Mountain Division of the United States Army in Fort Drum, New York from 1988 until 1991. Dan Crissman was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for eight years. An avid hunter, Dan preferred the use of the bow and arrow and a muzzle loader. He also enjoyed fishing, especially on his fatherâa�a��s boat in the Allegheny River. Dan also enjoyed watching the Steelers, Penguins and attending the Pirates games. He will be sadly missed by his dog Zeke. Besides his father of Oakmont, Pennsylvania and mother of Poland, Dan leaves one brother Mark A. Crissman of Youngstown and significant other, Amanda S. Fortney of Salem, Ohio. He will be missed by many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. His grandparents, Regis and June Stein, and Margaret Crissman, and his Aunt, Patty Crissman preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Friday, 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
