Daniel L. Carter, 70 of Campbell, died January 3, 2018 at Washington Square Health Care after an extended illness. Dan was born September 20, 1947 in Youngstown, a son of Robert E. Lee and Jane (Willrich) Carter.
Prior to his illness he worked for his brother, Donald in construction.
He was a veteran of the U.S Army during the Vietnam War.
Dan enjoyed his computer time and walks in the park with his son.
He is survived by his wife, the former Lois Bradford of Campbell, who he married, Feb. 14, 2004; two daughters, Angela Romans of Florida and Brandy (Jim) Naples of Poland; one son, Jason Carter at home; one step-son, William Shaffer of Youngstown; one step-daughter, Jeannie Anderson of Youngstown; two brothers, Donald Carter at Campbell and Edward Carter of Chillicothe, OH; two sisters, Glenda Cathel of Wyoming and Melody (Curt) Hahn of Sayre, PA; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Besides his parents, Dan was preceded in death by siblings, Robert, Dave, Joan, Denise, and Virginia.
A private burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
