Dana Pitzo-Valentine

New Middletown - Dana Pitzo-Valentine, 55, went to be with the Lord, July 19, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, after an extended illness surrounded by her family.

Dana was born December 5, 1962 at Fort Campbell, KY, daughter of Daniel and Alice Best Pitzo.

She was a 1982 graduate of Leetonia High School and attended The Ohio State University. She was a certified AQP. and worked for various dental practices in the Mahoning Valley. She was a member St. Paul Lutheran Church in Leetonia. Dana enjoyed cooking, camping, crafting, puzzles, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Valentine of Leetonia; one son, Cody Valentine of Leetonia, one brother, Daniel M. (Lisa ) Pitzo III of New Philadelphia, OH; one sister, Danielle (Derrick) Pitzo-McKinney of New Middletown; one niece, Darah McKinney; one nephew, Davin McKinney; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Alice June Pitzo and Daniel Pitzo, Jr..

Services will be held Tuesday at 1:00PM at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman with Rev. Kari Lankford officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
