Obituary

Dale R. Flick 57, an Air Force Veteran and HVAC technician of Austintown, Ohio died unexpectedly in Youngstown, Ohio on Friday, July 27th, 2018.

Dale is survived by his wife, the former Vicky Lorenzi of Austintown, Ohio; mother, Nancy Flick of Boardman, Ohio; sister, Kathy (Gary) Brousseau of Chardin, Ohio; his children, Army Sergeant Major Ron (Ashley) Flick of Okinawa, Japan, Hollie (James) Nevin PhD of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Jeremy Flick of Boulder, Colorado along with his three grandchildren Penelope Flick, Adrianna, and Brianna Nevin. He also leaves niece Lindsey (Braden) Cook, and Nephew Michael (Gina) Flick in addition to several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His father and brother, James Flick, preceded Dale in death.

Dale was born October 4th, 1960 in Youngstown Ohio, son of James and Nancy (Bodine) Flick. He was a life long resident of the area, a graduate of Boardman High School, a Local 33 union member, and an active participant in the D.A.R.E. social community. Dale will always be remembered as a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers fan.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 3rd, 2018 at the Davis-Becker Funeral home located at 8536 Market Street in Boardman, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 2nd from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Those that attend are encouraged to wear Steelers attire.
