Dale Franklin Aeppli

Youngstown - Dale Franklin Aeppli, 70, of Youngstown, died April 9, 2009 at Select Specialty Hospital. Mr. Aeppli was born November 25, 1938 in New Castle, Pa., the son of Paul and Alma Jones Aeppli. He was a graduate of New Springfield High School and worked as a dragline operator for Carbon Lime Stone for 26 years. Mr. Aeppli was a United States Army Veteran. He leaves his wife, the former Margaret L. Black, whom he married June 20, 1962; three daughters, Elayne Jones of Poland, Debbie (James) Lossick of Dallas, Georgia, and Tina (Michael) Nagel of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a sister, Shirley (Fred) Beight of New Middletown; and nine grandchildren, Charles and Craig Jones, Dennis Andrews, Danielle Hiet, Joshua and Jessica Lossick, and Nicholas, Patrick, and Christina Nagel. He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
