Cynthia Lee Elizabeth Lockiec, 50 Struthers- Cynthia Lee Elizabeth Lockiec, 50, of 581 Elm Street, died Thursday morning at her residence. Ms. Lockiec was born May 28, 1954 in Youngstown, a daughter of Stephen J. and Rose M. Polish Horney. She lived in Struthers for most of her life. She was a 1972 graduate of Mooney High School and received her nursing certificate from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in 1976. She was a registered nurse for St. Elizabeth Hospital and in 1981 moved to Ft. Lauderdale where she worked for various hospitals in southern Florida. In 1984 she returned to Struthers and became Nursing Supervisor and Director of Professional Services for Upjohn Home Healthcare. She retired from this position in 1992. Ms. Lockiec was a member of New Life Assembly of God. She is survived by two sisters, Theresa (Michael) Bolevich of Boardman and Loretta Faustino of Naples, Florida; one brother, Stephen (Kimberly) Horne of New Middletown; her caretaker and dearest friend, David Long and seven nieces and nephews, Matthew, Christina, Katie, Bradley, Jessica, Jacquelyn and Stephen. Besides her parents, one brother-in-law, Fred Faustino preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Monday 2:00 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
