Courtney Sue (Franklin) Ianazone

Poland-Courtney Sue (Franklin) lanazone, 33, of Poland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born August 26, 1990, in Youngstown, she was a daughter of Guy and Kathy (Danks) Franklin.

Courtney was a 2008 graduate of Canfield High School. The stars aligned for Courtney and her husband Joe, as they met through mutual friends. Thus, the romance began! Some of her best memories are of camping, including with her grandparents at their favorite spot in Myrtle Beach. 

After high school, Courtney followed her dream and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in both Los Angeles and New York. She extended her career working closely with Christian Louboutin. She took immense pride in her keen sense of elegant style and fashion. Above all, she cherished her time with her family and being the best wife and mother. 

Courtney’s courageous and selfless personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joe, of Poland; their 8-month-old pride and joy, Joey Jr.; parents, Guy and Kathy Franklin, of Canfield; sister, Ashley (Cody) Dye; mother and father-in-law, Joanie and Jim lanazone; brother-in-law, Jimmy (fiancé Jenni) lanazone; as well as many close extended family members.

In keeping with her wishes, services will be private to the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in Courtney's memory for her son, Joey’s future education.
