Corrine Eleanor (Gull) Weaver, 88, of Hubbard, Ohio and formerly of Westover (Morgantown), WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 15, 2017.
Mrs. Weaver was born April 12, 1929 in Grafton, WV, a daughter of the late Gearl St. Clair Gull and Cora Leota (Huffman) Gull.
Corrine was employed and retired from West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She also worked for Sterling Faucet in Morgantown, WV.
She was a member of the Kingdom Evangelical Methodist Church in Westover, WV.
Corrine is survived by three sons and their spouses, Charles L. "Larry" and Melinda R. "Mindy" Weaver of Hilton Head Island, SC, Terring "Terry" and Terry R. Weaver of St. Augustine, FL, and Gearl Patrick "Pat" Weaver of Gibson, NC; two brothers and their spouses, Dallas and Betty Gull of Monroe, NC and Donald and Edith Gull of Grafton, WV; two sisters and their spouses, Alfreda and Bob Fritz of Meadville, PA and Geraldine and Jim Murphy of Danielson, CT; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Alphe) Weaver, Benjamin (Jennifer) Weaver, Kelley Weaver, Alex Weaver, and Sam Weaver; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles Lawrence Weaver, who passed away September 11, 2006. Also preceding her in death were three brothers and three sisters.
Per Corrine's wishes no viewing or services are planned. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Final resting place will be at Woodsdale Cemetery, Grafton, WV.
The family requests that memorial gifts take the form of contributions in Corrine's memory to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown, OH 44512; Angels for Animals, 4750 W. South Range Rd., Canfield, OH 44406; or to the Second Harvest Food Bank, 2805 Salt Springs Rd., Youngstown, OH 44509.
