Youngstown- Corinne Rebecca Gump, 10, died unexpectedly, with her grandparents, on Monday, March 30, 2015. She was born in Youngstown on January 31, 2005 and was in the 4th grade at South Range Elementary School. She attended the Youngstown ASL Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Campbell.
She was a beautiful child with a soft heart and her mommy's smarts. She was daddy's princess and always slept with her daddy's grey tank tops. She had a quirky attitude and touched many people's lives in her 10 short years. She was a night owl and enjoyed playing games, riding four wheelers and bikes, swimming and playing outside with her friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Lynn Marie Schmidt; her baby sister, Ava Jade Seman; her father, Ethan Robert Gump; Corinne's stepmother, Lisa Cappitti and six stepbrothers and sisters; her paternal grandmother, Marcia Braden; maternal great-grandmother, Evaline Schmidt; special cousin who was like her sister, Lilly; very close cousins, Hannah, Raelin, Jocelyn and Brandon; several aunts, uncles, cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy and Judy Schmidt; two cousins, Amanda Seman and Kaden Gump; paternal great-grandparents, Betty and James Braden; maternal great-grandfather, Edward Schmidt; and her aunt, Marabeth Gump.
Friends and family can call on Saturday from 3-6pm at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St. Boardman. Funeral services will be Monday at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery. The family asks that any donations be made to Ethan Gump, 3505 Desoto Ave. Youngstown, OH 44502.
