Constance M. Smith

Constance M. Smith, 76 Lowellville-Constance M. Smith, 76, of 6133 Struthers Road died early Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on September 17, 1928, a daughter of John and Zalma Himes Shilling. She was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Smith was a 1946 graduate of Struthers High School and a homemaker. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Poland. Her husband, John J. Smith Jr., whom she married May 5, 1948, died January 12, 2004. She leaves one daughter, Linda Sheridan of Lowellville; a daughter in law, Pam Smith Rice (Jeffrey) of Poland two brothers, William Shilling of Poland and George Shilling of Poland; and four grandchildren, John Smith, Stephen Smith, Richard Smith, and Jeffrey Rice. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jack and Infant Michael Smith; three brothers Robert, Paul, and Eddie Shilling; and two sisters, Lillian Soldo and Cecelia Parker Funeral services will be Tuesday 1PM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. There will be a luncheon to follow at the Cunningham-Becker Family Center in Poland, Friends may call Monday from 5-8PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 12:00-12:45PM at the church.
