Lowellville-Constance M. Iudiciani, 86, affectionately known as Connie, passed away peacefully Christmas Eve morning at the St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, surrounded by her family.
Connie was born on March 31, 1928 in Lowellville, Ohio to Anthony and Jenny D'Amico Donatelli, who immigrated from Pescocostanzo, Italy.
On July 3, 1948 Connie married the love of her life, Venanz "Bananas" Iudiciani. Together they shared 58 years of blessed marriage. Bananas passed away on December 1, 2006. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Benjamin, Daniel, and Rudolph; and sisters, Josephine Perry and Jean Fitch.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Kamensky and son-in-law Kurt; grandchildren, John and Candace; her sister, Mary Di Ianni; brothers, Alfred (Donna) and Anthony Jr. (Pat); and brother-in-law, Bob Fitch.
Connie worked as a dental assistant to Dr. Victor Balmenti, and was a member of Our Lady of The Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. Connie's greatest joy was taking care of her home and family, and she was immensely proud of her grandchildren John Vincent and Candace Marie. She looked forward to hosting the annual parade during The Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel with wine and refreshments at her home, in honor of her late husband.
A prayer service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 244 McGill Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Dr. Nicholas Proia and the entire staff in the Intensive Care Unit of St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center for their devoted compassion and excellent care given to Connie.
