Poland - Clyde W. Householder, 72, of Poland, died July 13, 2009 at the Hospice House.
Mr. Householder was born September 27, 1936 in Youngstown, a son of Clyde and Florence Musser Householder.
He was a 1954 graduate of Boardman High School. Mr. Householder worked as an electrician for 30 years for the Local Union No. 64 IBEW of which he was a member for 50 years. He was also a member of the Canfield AARP 3104. After retirement, he and his wife moved to Oak Hill, FL for 15 years until her passing in 2005.
Mr. Householder was a fantastic chef and baker. An avid fisherman, he loved taking his boats out on the water and fishing. He also had compassion for animals and leaves behind his dog and companion, Daisy Mae.
His wife, the former Joan I. Gempler, whom he married August 14, 1954, died September 21, 2005. He leaves two sons, Jeffrey (Jean) Householder of Edgewater, FL and Brian Householder of Daytona Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Kent, Katie, and Laura Householder; and one great-grandchild, Lillian Robertson.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Lance Householder and his brother, Edward Householder.
There will be no calling hours or services. Interment will be in Lake Park Cemetery.
