Clifford C. Way, 87 Poland- Clifford C. Way, 87 of 2338 Lyon Boulevard, died Monday evening at Beeghly Oaks after an extended illness. Mr. Way was born June 22, 1915 in Wingate, PA a son of the late Herbert J. and Lona B. Brower Way. He was a 1933 graduate of Canfield High School and attended Youngstown College, and has been a lifelong area resident. An U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Way served with the Army Air Corps. He worked as a Carpenter and was a member of the Carpenters and Joiners Union, Local #171, retiring in 1978 after 52 years. Mr. Way was a member of the Evangel Baptist Church in Youngstown, and enjoyed fishing. He leaves his wife the former Anna Mae Hess, whom he married October 26, 1946. Three sons: Richard P. and his wife Joanne; David and his wife Bonny and C. James and wife Diana all of Poland; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a sister Gail Marstellar; and three brothers: Ellis, Herbert; and Paul Way. A memorial service will be held Saturday, at 11AM at the Evangel Baptist Church.
