Poland- Clifford Edward Cole, born November 28, 1931, in Washington D.C., to Albert C. Cole and Lora Collins Cole, passed away on December 4, 2004 in Cleveland Clinic after a long brave struggle. Served in U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Caliente 1948 to 1951 in the Far East and Korea during Korean Conflict. Worked as a Newspaper Pressman for 41 years, 40 of them at the Youngstown Vindicator, retiring in November 1993. Past member of Vindicator Arc Golf League, the Allied PrintCraft Bowling League and Boardman Business Menâa�a��s Golf League, and the Idora Dance Club, and Junior Chamber of Commerce. Member of Poland Presbyterian Church Marinerâa�a��s Group, and Vindicator Retirees Breakfast Club. Leaves wife Maureen (Reene) Bynane Cole, married May 25, 1957, and 2 daughters, Attorney Kimber Lee Cole of Columbus, Ohio, and Kelly Rae Cole VanSuch of Canton, Michigan, and her husband, Kenneth VanSuch, who was like a son. Half-brother Richard(Margaret) Cole of Boardman. Cliff loved golfing, dancing weekly with his wife, enjoyed his retirement socializing with his wife and friends, and traveling and visiting his children. He was such a very proud, hard-working, and gentle soul who was looking forward to becoming a first-time grandfather of twins in February. Funeral services will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St., Poland.
