Clara R. Prine

Clara R. Prine, 73 Petersburg- Clara R. Prine, 73, of 5669 Garfield Rd., died Saturday morning at her residence of cancer. She was born January 7, 1929, in Struthers, a daughter of the late Samuel and Myrtle Kaiser Luther. She attended Struthers High School and was a lifelong area resident. A member of the Petersburg Presbyterian Church, she enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and raising her children and grandchildren. Besides her husband Ivan E. Prine, Sr., whom she married October 10, 1946, she leaves three daughters: Janet and son-in-law Skip Merryman of Canfield; Joyce and son-in-law Ray Constance of Austintown; Brenda Gardener of Petersburg; a son: Ivan Prine, Jr. of Niles; three sisters: Dorothy Macejko of Struthers; Barbara Berroteran of Boardman; Gail Yallech of Polandand Karen Luther Pochiro of Las Vegas, NV; a brother: Ronald Luther of Boardman; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a grandson: Edward Allen Fowler; two brothers: Harold and Jack Luther; and one sister: Joyce Mancuso. A funeral service will be held 4PM, Tuesday at the Davidson- Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3PM until the 4PM service.
