North Lima - Clara M. Lisko, 94, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 7, 2017 at her home.
Clara was born August 6, 1923 in Youngstown, a daughter of Anthony and Angelina Panza DiSalle.
A lifelong area resident, Clara was a 1942 graduate of East High School. She was previously employed by Moyer Company and Weatherbee Coat Factory. Mrs. Lisko was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.
She was a lifelong member of St. Angela of Merici Parish in Youngstown. Clara loved doing yard work, flower gardening, cooking, and going on trips to the casino. Every Monday and Tuesday evenings, Clara enjoyed turning on the television and watching WWE Wrestling.
Her husband, William S. Lisko, whom she married May 4, 1946, preceded her in death on September 18, 2011. She is survived by her grandson and caregiver, Brian DiNobile, whom she made her home with in North Lima; and her sister, Dorothy Troyan of Struthers.
In addition to her parents and husband, Clara was preceded in death by her son, William A. Lisko; and brother, Tony DiSalle.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St., Struthers. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 12:30-1:15 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service. Interment will be Calvary Cemetery.
