Struthers - Charlotte E. Campy, 97, of Struthers, died June 11, 2011 at Maplecrest Nursing Home.

Mrs.Campy, formerly of Bancroft Avenue in Youngstown, was born June 21, 1913 in Vandergrift, PA, a daughter of William and Mary Miller Linsenbigler and came to this area as an infant.

She was a former member of Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church, a 1932 graduate of Struthers High School, card club, worked as a cashier at Oles Market and Sun Oil as a bookkeeper and after her children were raised she worked for the Neopolitan Music Company as a secretary and receptionist retiring in 1975.

Surviving are a daughter, Jacquelyn Leson of Youngstown; sons, William Campy of Youngstown and Eugene Campy of Boardman; four grandchildren, Cherie Kent, Robert Campy, Michael J. Campy and Carly Ann Matula; six great-grandchildren, Robbie Campy, Breanna Campy, Taylor Campy, Mike Campy, Keira Matula and Korbin Matula.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Michael Campy, whom she married Jan. 31, 1942 and who passed away Dec. 24, 1984; sister, Velora Mauch; and brothers, Howard and Eugene Linsenbigler

Services will be held Wednesday at the Davidson Becker Funeral Home in Struthers at 11 a.m. with Father Richard Lambert officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and from10 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
