Lowellville - It was a dark and starry night... on Monday, September 9, 2024, that Chuck peacefully went home to be with the Lord, with his wife of 47 years by his side.
Charles Francis Harris was born on September 29, 1945 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Edward J. and Laurabelle C. (Knoll) Harris.
Chuck graduated from Lowellville High School in 1963 and worked as the Assistant Road Superintendent for Boardman Township and held numerous positions at Lowellville Local Schools.
On November 11, 1977, Chuck "Cutie" was blessed to wed his other half, the former Mary "Ouch" Sprague. In Lowellville, they built a beautiful life together doing the things they love. They shared a passion for a white and black Beagle named Snoopy, which was evident in their collection and matching attire. Chuck found great joy in time with his family, yard work, video games, and sitting by a campfire. His ultimate joy was found when surrounded by his four grandchildren laughing, playing, talking, or spoiling.
Chuck was a dedicated member of Washington Union Alliance Church, where he served as Treasurer for over 30 years. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and spread patriotism wherever he went.
Along with his wife, Chuck is survived by his son, Lee (Dawn) Harris of Lowellville; daughter, Megan (Larry) Tepe of New Castle; and his four grandchildren, Ethan and Brandon Harris and Madilyn and Piper Tepe. He is also survived by his younger brother, David Harris Sr. of Lowellville.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by three brothers, Ted, Newt, and Skip.
