Charles William Golden, 71 Poland- Charles William Golden, 71 of 50 Philrose Lane died Thursday afternoon in St. Elizabeth Health Center. He was born May 15, 1933 in Dawson, Pennsylvania a son of Leroy and Leona Gunn Golden. He attended Dunbar Township High School. He moved to the Youngstown area in 1956. Mr. Golden became a superintendent with International Mill Service traveling and working at various locations throughout his career. After his retirement to Poland, Ohio in 1995 he owned and operated Golden Transportation a steel trucking firm. He was a former member of the Poland Presbyterian Church. He was a thirty five year member of Poland Lodge F & AM # 766, a 32nd degree mason, a member of Al Koran Shrine, a Life member of the National Rifle Association and itâa�a��s Golden Eagles. He leaves his wife, the former Beth D. Wegele; three sons, Charles E. (Jennifer) Golden of Youngwood, Pennsylvania, Roy D. (Maribeth) Golden of Poland and Jeffrey Gunn (Charlotte) Golden of the Netherlands; three sisters, Ramona F. Anderson of Ravenna, Janice B. Golden and Judith K. Golden both of New Port Richey, Florida; a brother, Eldon R. (Catherine) Golden of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; grandchildren, Eric Hone, Dale Golden, Christopher Charles Golden, Sheila Golden, Seth Golden, Fabian Gunn Golden, Lieve Golden, Kayla Golden, and Finn Golden and 15 nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5 to 9 PM Sunday at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. A burial service will be Monday in the Bryan Methodist Church Cemetery in Dawson, Pennsylvania.
