Charles G. Galazia, 84 Lowellville- Charles G. Galazia, 84, of 4561 New Castle Road, Lowellville died Wednesday evening at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born February 2, 1918, in Hillsville, PA, a son of the late John and Nancy Cardella Galazia. Upon his graduation he joined the Army and was a member of the Army Air Corps, stationed at Langley Field. He was employed by National Cylinder Gasses, as a technician retiring in 1982 after 38 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his earlier years, but most of all loved to play gin rummy, with his friends and family. Besides his wife the late Evelyn Bonace whom he married December 17, 1941, and who died April 18, 2002, he leaves a son: Ronald C.; two grandsons: Ronald and Sergio; a nephew Joseph Battisti, all with whom he made his home; two sisters: Rosemary Hinkel; Helen Ducick; and one brother: Lewis âa�A"Abeâa�A� Galazia all of Florida. He is preceded in death by a brother: John Galazia A funeral service will be held 2PM, Monday at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-8 PM, Sunday, and again on Monday from 1-1:45 PM prior to the service.
