Huntsville - Charles L. DeMarsh, 74, of Huntsville, OH, died Friday, November 7, 2008 at his residence, surrounded by his family. Mr. DeMarsh was born March 19, 1934 in Ada, Ohio the son of Louis J.& Mozelle Burnett DeMarsh. He was a graduate of Indiana Institute of Technology in Aeronautical Engineering and worked as an Aerospace Engineer at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base, retiring in 1999. He was also an instructor for Dale Carnegie Training of Central Ohio. He was a member of the St. Mary of the Woods Church; Engineers Club of Dayton; the Ohio Historical Society, where he was a former trustee; the Logan County Historical Society, where he was the past President; the Indian Lake Historical Society, where he was Vice President; and the Historical Aviation Organization of Logan County, where he was the President. He held a pilots license and enjoyed flying. His most cherished time centered around being with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, the former, Elaine Brueck whom he married July 20, 1962. Also surviving are 3 children. His son, John (Amy) DeMarsh of Findlay, two daughters, Teresa (Tom) Hatton of Huber Heights and Mary DeMarsh of West Chester; and three grandchildren, Nicholas Hatton, Andrew Hatton, and Gina Marie DeMarsh. He was preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may call Wednesday, November 12, from 10:00 - 12:00 noon at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville.
