Lowellville - Cecilia Nichols, 63, of Lowellville, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Hospice House.
Cecilia, affectionately known to many as "Ceci" was born March 16, 1950 in Hillsville, PA, a daughter of the late Orlando and Josephine Sandora Donatelli.
She was a 1968 graduate of Mohawk High School. Mrs. Nichols was an insurance agent and worked the majority of her career for Cailor Fleming and Associates.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. In her spare time, Ceci loved to read and could always be found with a book in her hand, enjoyed cooking for family and friends, and traveling to the Niagara Falls area in Canada with her late husband Laurence. Ceci will always be remembered as a kind hearted woman, who was always concerned about others.
Her husband, Laurence M. Nichols, preceded her in death on November 7, 2005. She is survived by two sons, William Nichols of Boardman and Stephen Nichols of Lowellville; brother, John (Sharon) Donatelli of Toledo; her very special aunt, Concetta McGinnis of Lowellville; and her beloved dog, Sammy.
Per Mrs. Nichols' request there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Lowellville with Fr. John Jerek officiating.
The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions in Mrs. Nichols' name to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Boardman, Ohio 44512 or to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad Street, Canfield, Ohio 44406.
