Cathryn L. Johnson Pratt

Cathryn L. Johnson Pratt Struthers- Cathryn L. Johnson Pratt, 94, of Como Street, died early Friday morning at her residence. Cathryn was born March 12, 1914 in Struthers, a daughter of Edward C. and Elizabeth Lidington Maurer. She was a life-long resident of Struthers. She attended Struthers High School and was a telephone operator for Ohio Bell Company, Strouss-Hirschberg and Cafaro Hospital. Cathryn was a life member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Struthers. She was a member of Ohio Bell Telephone Pioneers and was a former president of the Lutheran Church Womenâa�a��s Association. Her first husband Gove Johnson whom she married November 8, 1930, died March 19, 1956. Her second husband, Roy Pratt, whom she married April 11, 1957, died May 5, 1974. She leaves two step-daughters, Carol Maizel of Poland and Marilyn (William) Roberts of Ormond Beach, Florida; one step-son, Roy J. Pratt Jr., of Vienna; one niece, Betty Jane Kushma; two great-nieces, Gayle (Paul) Black and Cheryl Kushma Couts; one great nephew, Dale (Connie) Kushma; 27 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, great âa�"great nieces and nephews; and special caregiver Joyce Pratt. Funeral services will be Monday, 2:00 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home. The family requests memorial tributes go to Christ Lutheran Womenâa�a��s Association or to the MVI Hospice.
