Catherine Agnes Hantula, 89 Poland- Catherine Agnes Hantula, 89 of Sunrise Assisted Living formerly of Duncan Drive died Wednesday morning at the nursing home. Catherine was born October 14, 1917 in Youngstown, a daughter of Thomas and Kate Engel Caddick. She was raised in Youngstown and moved to Poland 9 years ago. During World War II, Catherine worked at the Ravenna Arsenal and later worked as a Laundress for St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She retired from there in 1982 after 20 years of service. She is survived by her husband Neil Matt Hantula, whom she married February 14, 1946; three daughters, Carol (Ken) Valiquette of Lakeland, Florida, Patricia Hantula of Poland, and Sandra (Richard) Miller of Poland; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her son, Donald Caddick, two sisters, Thelma Eckler and Florence Parker, two brothers, Paul and Thomas Caddick, and one great-grandson. Funeral Services will be Saturday, 9:45 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers.
